First of all Happy 2024! We took a bit of an extended absence from all things website related as we entered into our most important roles to date of Mom and Dad to our beautiful baby girl, Savannah. 2023 had it's ups and downs, but overall it was an amazing year for so many reasons. Let's find out why! We got to experience some new things as a couple in 2023 like the nail biting Indiana vs. OSU basketball game, the OSU vs. Michigan hockey game. We also found out we were expecting a baby, we found out our sweet furbaby Grace has lymphoma, we traveled to Indian Lake, Wilmington, N.C., Myrtle Beach, S.C., Paulding, O.H., and Fort Wayne, I.N. We got to spend time with our loved ones and friends. Some of our friends had babies, we welcomed our baby girl and experienced so many things. Seth knocked it out of the park in the gardening realm (where I slacked at because I just wasn't having it while pregnant). I got to start being more creative with recipes with my amazing husband willing to try the new recipes. Oh! and I received my first sourdough starter (that I plan on starting this week). Overall, 2023, it was just bountiful with blessings. One of the things we want to do on here this year is share more recipes, because we are passionate about recipes that are easy to read and print or save for future use. We're looking forward to working on the garden and maybe growing a couple new things. I'm looking forward to doing the Bible Recap with my best friend, Natalie, and learning more! The other thing we want to do is share products we have LOVED for Savannah, as parents, in postpartum and in the journey of breastfeeding. When they say you'll never know what it feels like until it happens they're not lying, it's magical to watch this little human grow inside of you and come into this world and rely on you. It is a beautiful thing. I also look forward to learning all I can about breast feeding and sharing things I learn as I go. It's hard to believe all the things we have to look forward to in 2024. The most exciting things would be watching Savannah grow, spending time with the furbabies (Tucker, Cooper and Grace) and getting to love on our Gracey girl as long as she's fighting and the good Lord is letting us love her. Also, growing in our love for each other and strengthening our marriage. So, to conclude this blog that probably seems a little sporadic, we want to know, you, our wonderful subscribers that are our family and friends, what do you want to see come on the website as the Days Grow By this year?
